This one‑of‑a‑kind 18th‑century colonial ensemble is handmade in my UK studio using premium British fabrics and heirloom‑level sewing techniques. Designed for collectors who appreciate historical accuracy and fine miniature craftsmanship, the set includes a fully lined day dress, embroidered stomacher, separate underskirt, and an authentically styled colonial mop cap.
The Dress
Made from high‑quality cotton sourced in the UK, the dress features a fully lined bodice for structure and longevity. The ¾‑length sleeves are finished with delicate lace cuffs, and the neckline and front panel are trimmed with a soft lace ruffle for period authenticity.
A burgundy embroidered cotton stomacher adds richness and contrast. The dress fastens neatly at the back with hook‑and‑loop tape, allowing for flexible fit adjustment.
The Underskirt
The separate burgundy cotton underskirt is gathered into a waistband and ties with cotton tapes, giving a beautiful adjustable fit and the correct colonial silhouette.
The Colonial Mop Cap
The large mop cap is a true highlight of the ensemble. It features:

• Satin band

This colonial day dress and cap is the embodiment of femininity. From the delicate floral fabric of the dress which is offset with a matching burgundy skirt and embroidered stomacher, to the mop cap which is as complex in construction as the dress, this little outfit is as pretty and sweet as a petit four!
